SSD-wide Congress 2024 Accepts 383 New Members

Through the united efforts of every individual, God has been working mightily in various territories leading up to the SS/PM/NDR-IEL/Children’s Ministries Congress. This beautiful Sabbath of June 15, at Mountain View College, Valencia City, Bukidnon, we witnessed the fruits of our labor as an initial of 383 newly baptized believers emerged from the baptismal pool.

SS, or Sabbath School, is the heart of God’s denomination and gives vital religious instructions inside the church. At the same time, the PM, or Personal Ministries Department, encourages Sabbath school members to go out and share the beautiful gospel of salvation in their communities. The Children’s Ministries proponent has the creative role of luring children and some youth groups to have the foundations and learn about the God who loves small children.

The Integrated Evangelism Lifestyle (IEL) Department is responsible for Nurturing, Discipleship, and Retention of members who choose to follow Jesus. The unified members of the church must work together, using their individual uniqueness and strength to make others disciples; thus, total membership involvement is achieved.

The initial 383 baptism in this report is not just a statistic; it is a testament to the growth of our church and the continuous gains in our evangelism efforts. As God’s workers, we wholeheartedly follow the commission,’ therefore, go and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.’ (Matthew 28:19). The harvest is indeed ready, and we, as His workers, are few, but our impact is undeniable.

“Faithful Christian men and women should have an intense interest in bringing the convicted soul to a correct knowledge of righteousness in Christ Jesus… They must not neglect the faithful, tender, loving instruction so essential to the young converts that there may be no half-hearted work. The very first experience should be right. Through association with those who love and fear God, they will receive strength.” (Testimonies for the Church 6:91-93). (SePUM Communication)
