In the whole Philippines, AHD has nine sister hospitals operated by the Seventh-day Adventist Church: Adventist Medical Center-Valencia City, Adventist Medical Center-Iligan City, Gingoog Sanitarium and Hospital at Gingoog City, Adventist Hospital—Cebu Inc., Adventist Medical Center-Bacolod City, Adventist Hospital-Calbayog City, Inc., Adventist Medical Center-Manila, Adventist Hospital-Santi City, and Adventist Hospital Palawan.

There are 229 Adventist hospitals and sanitariums worldwide, 129 nursing homes and retirement centers, 1,475 clinics and dispensaries, 128 dental clinics, and 15 orphanages and children’s homes.

Adventist Hospital Davao’s specializations include cardiology, cataract surgery, colorectal surgery, dental, dermatology, ear, nose, throat, head, and neck surgery, endocrinology, gastroenterology, general surgery, internal medicine, laparoscopic surgery (cholecystectomy), nephrology, obstetrics and gynecology, ophthalmology, orthopedics, pediatrics, and pulmonology.

Through all its years of service, AHD has stayed the course and delivered on its mission to “continue the healing ministry of Jesus Christ.” In 2020, healthcare services included 24-hour emergency service; inpatient care services; major and minor surgical operations; intensive care units (adult and neonatal); outpatient clinics; clinical laboratory; imaging (x-ray, ultrasound, 2D echocardiogram, and CT scan); pharmacy; well-baby clinic and immunization; infertility and women’s diseases clinic; endoscopy and colonoscopy; and hemodialysis.

As it serves the largest city in the country, this hospital is unwavering in its commitment to safety standards. It is the first hospital in Davao City to advocate smoking cessation in accordance with the government’s no-smoking campaign. Offering Christian songs and fervent prayers to its clients, we also offer hope with our smiles and gentle care, ensuring our patients feel secure and cared for.

Jesus’ healing ministries found in the Bible gave inspiring ways to bring men to the fountain of salvation. Mrs. Ellen G. White, inspired by the Holy Spirit, explains: “Christ’s method alone will give true success in reaching the people. The Savior mingled with men as one who desired their good. He showed His sympathy for them, ministered to their needs, and won their confidence. Then He bade them, ‘Follow Me.'” – The Ministry of Healing, p. 143. (SePUM Communication)
