Teachers’ Opening Report Program Kicks Off with Inspiring Theme: “Together we Go, Grow and Glow for God’s Glory”
The teachers of Davao Mission Elementary and Academy gathered for their annual Teachers’ Opening Report program at the Seventh-day Adventist Conference Hall in Davao. The event took place on July 2-3 and focused on the theme “Together we Go, Grow and Glow for God’s Glory.” This powerful slogan not only set a collaborative and spiritual tone for the upcoming school year, but also highlighted the collective effort and dedication of the Davao Mission teachers.
The event showcased Dr. Perlyn Panes, who serves as the director of the Education ministry at the Southeastern Philippine Union Mission, as the keynote speaker. During her address, Dr. Panes emphasized the multifaceted responsibilities of teachers. She highlighted that educators “are responsible for imparting knowledge to their students and for continuously improving themselves in their spiritual journey and mission.”
