About This Ministry

The Youth Ministries Department exists to lead young people into a saving relationship with Jesus Christ and to empower them to become faithful disciples, leaders, and missionaries. Its mission is to nurture faith, develop character, and inspire service among children, teens, and young adults.

Details

Youth Ministries is the training ground for the Church’s future leaders and present missionaries. By guiding young people to commit their talents and energy to Christ, this department ensures the continuity and vitality of the Church’s mission. Youth are challenged to embrace the Adventist motto: “The love of Christ compels us,” living lives of service, courage, and devotion wherever God places them.

  • • Organizes programs for spiritual growth, leadership development, and discipleship for Adventist youth.

  • • Oversees ministries such as Adventurers, Pathfinders, Ambassadors, and Adventist Youth (AY) Societies.

  • • Equips youth for active participation in evangelism, service projects, and global mission initiatives.

  • • Provides training and resources for youth leaders, counselors, and mentors.

  • • Promotes balanced development—spiritual, mental, physical, and social—through activities, camping, and community engagement.
