Pag-IBIG Fund, also known as Pagtutulungan sa Kinabukasan: Ikaw, Bangko, Industriya at Gobyerno, visited the Southeastern Philippine Union Mission (SePUM) on May 23 to present their corporation’s beneficial programs for industries, institutions, and individual members.
Gladly discussing focal points during the discussions were Ms. Alymore Atienza, Head, PagIBIG Led Division, Mr. Geemar Gubalane, Housing Relationship Officer, and Uzel Mae Besinan, HRO, on behalf of their Assistant Department Manager, Ms. Mylin Odron.
Rental Home Construction Loan is a low-interest loan offered by Pag-IBIG for dormitories and residential buildings. Western Mindanao Adventist Academy in Dumingag, Zamboanga del Sur, was a recipient of this loan, initiated by Pr. Danielo Palomares during his leadership at the former South Philippine Union Conference (SPUC), which has since been bifurcated into the Southwestern Philippine Union Conference (SWPUC) and Southeastern Philippine Union Mission (SePUM).
Present at the discussion were the administrators of Davao Mission (DM), Northern Davao Mission (NDM), South Central Mindanao Mission (SCMM), Southeastern Caraga Mission (SeCM), Southern Mindanao Mission (SMM), Adventist Hospital Davao (AHD), and South Philippine Adventist College (SPAC).
As of this writing, newly created missions resulting from a division that occurred just 5 months ago, only SCMM and SeCM do not qualify for the Rental Home Construction Loan, which requires 3-year comparative financial reports. However, like the rest, they could avail of the Countryside Home Initiative and Pag-IBIG Housing Loan for their employees and officers.
The Pag-IBIG Fund, also known as the Home Mutual Development Fund, is a government-owned and controlled corporation. It brings together four sectors of society to provide its members with adequate housing through an effective savings scheme.
