OneVoice27, as a global initiative, mobilized all the churches and institutions of Southeastern Philippine Union Mission (SePUM) on Sept. 5, the day slated to launch in every church the ministry of Jesus.
The initiative themed "All Things New: Mission for All", aims to send and mobilize every member's participation for the proclamation of the three angels messages that require organized leadership and accountability.

With the widespread use of internet and social media platforms, the strategy is to make disciples and missionaries even through digital way. Not only through technology but a variety of methods to share Jesus and His everlasting message.
The message “Let Your Light Shine”, was translated by SePUM into the widely-used Cebuan dialect, sent to all churches and was delivered simultaneously all over the territory. Kidapawan City Central Seventh-day Adventist Church had Pr. Danielo Palomares, SePUM president, while all officers and leaders of the church visited churches to impart the message with urgency and passion.

The sermon, rooted in Matthew 5:14–16, begins with the reminder that though believers come from different homes, languages, and cultures, they are united in one mission through Christ. On this global launch day, the church is called not simply to create content but to proclaim Jesus, who makes all things new. The sermon draws a sharp contrast between showing off and showing up: showing off seeks recognition, while showing up seeks to make Jesus visible.
True witness flows from worship and relationship with God. Jesus warned, “Take heed that you do not do your charitable deeds before men, to be seen by them” (Matthew 6:1). Ellen White echoes this: “The work of God is not to be carried forward by display, but by humble obedience.” (Testimonies for the Church, Vol. 5, p. 461). Before posting or speaking, disciples must first spend time in prayer and Scripture, for “Without Me you can do nothing” (John 15:5).

The message emphasizes that true witness flows from worship and relationship with God. Before posting or speaking, disciples must first spend time in prayer and Scripture. The light we shine is not our own—it is Jesus, whose love is shown in compassion, service, and presence. Digital ministry, like Christ’s earthly ministry, must be relational, not promotional.
Our mission is both near and far. Jesus said, “You shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth” (Acts 1:8). Ellen White reminds us: “Every true disciple is born into the kingdom of God as a missionary” (The Desire of Ages, p. 195). It begins in our homes and communities, crossing cultural boundaries, and reaching the ends of the earth—even through digital platforms. Yet the goal are not clicks or views, but people meeting Jesus in prayer, Scripture, and discipleship.

The goal is not clicks or views, but people meeting Jesus in prayer, Scripture, and discipleship. “The church is God’s appointed agency for the salvation of men” (Acts of the Apostles, p. 9). Evangelism is not reserved for specialists; it is the calling of every believer. As Peter exhorts, “But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood… that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light” (1 Peter 2:9).
The sermon also highlights the global moment, that billions are online, yet many still unreached and urges believers to consecrate their digital presence to God.
Finally, three calls are given: show up surrendered, dedicating devices and influence to God), show up relationally, choosing people over platforms, and show up together, uniting as one church family in mission. The appeal closes with the question: Will you let your light shine? Jesus said, “You are the light of the world… Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven” (Matthew 5:14,16). Ellen White assures us: “The Lord has His appointed agencies for carrying forward His work, and every believer is to be a light bearer” (Testimonies for the Church, Vol. 6, p. 415).
God’s people were holding commitment cards, lined up to drop one in a purple box, after their phone’s flashlights were turned on and waved them up while singing the theme song.

One of the highlights of the programs were when altogether every cellular phone and other devices used a platform sharing a verse, experiences, poem, pictures, videos, personalized contents and many other testimonies. These messages had striking one-liner which included a hashtag: I believe that Jesus make #AllThingsNew, supplemented with other aligned phrase.
We must show up in our family, church and communities in order to show off Jesus. Showing up means participating in all endeavors, reaching out to others, thus putting off Jesus and bringing to the fore the marvelous character and mission of Jesus. The motive is to create a "good noise", to sustain intentional soulwinning that will show off Jesus.
OneVoice27 indeed is a global call for every believer to unite in mission, lifting up Jesus with one voice across cultures, languages, and platforms. Just as the Israelites marched together and blew the trumpets until the walls of Jericho fell (Joshua 6:20), the church today is summoned to proclaim the everlasting gospel with clarity, courage, and unity. The power is not in human strength or numbers, but in surrendered disciples whose collective witness allows barriers to crumble and hearts to be won for Christ.
Pastor Erton C. Kohler, president of the worldwide Adventist church shares this soul-stirring message: “What is needed now is a church that recognizes the moment it is living in. Not waiting for ideal conditions. Not divided in effort. But moving forward, because it trusts the Word it proclaims.”
