Discover Your Way (DYWG) with God, an online program launched by Southeastern Philippine Union Mission (SePUM), now on its second year, gained 4,731 newly-baptized members as a result of its mobile journey featuring nine speakers in six different venues for 13 days.
The first venue for the digital broadcast was Tandag City Central Adventist Church who has the preliminary program and the Sabbath launching event with Pr. Edwin Magdadaro. Pr. Jerry Taguno shared two topics: "Your Home in Heaven" and "How Soon Will Jesus Come," and with the unity of 535 churches, persuaded 1,190 to the feet of Jesus.
Tagum South Central Adventist Church of Northern Davao Mission (NDM) hosted the 3rd to 4th lessons: "The Secret of Growth" and "Entering the Christian Life”, eloquently delivered by Pr EM Vladimir Undalok. The territory is composed of 382 companies and churches and their unified moves added 667 new members to this growing church.
The long travel to Gen. Santos City on Sept. 3-4 had the chance for Pr Enrile Yata to share "The Secret of Answered Prayer" and "From Guilty Sinner to Forgiven Saint" and the unwavering faith and unity of their leaders and church members of Southern Mindanao Mission (SMM) with 567congregations in 45 districts brought to Jesus’ feet 1,339 newly baptized members.
The travel continued mostly during the evening, and the 142 km ride to Kidapawan City took place to launch another two episodes at Kidapawan City Seventh-day Adventist Church of the neophyte South Central Mindanao Mission (SCMM). Topics “What and Where is Hell?” and “When a Person Dies, What Then?” were presented by Pr. Edwillie Seliote on Sept. 5 and 6. The day and night support to the digital evangelism series by 609 churches in 45 districts brought together to the feet of Jesus more 910 precious souls.
The jourey continued to the growing community of South Philippine Union College (SPAC) Matanao, Davao del Sur, and their new college church became the venue of two topics: Pr. Alfredo Agustin, president, talked “Can the Majority Be Wrong?” and Dr. Dr. Ranzoline Bayeta, vice president for academic affairs shared insights on “The Secret of Growth Through Fellowship.”
The last leg of the group travel bringing cameras, lights, LED walls, audio equipment, switchers, tripods and many other broadcasting peripherals moved from SPAC to Bangkal, Davao City to livestream for three more speakers representing three institutions. The solar-powered Bangkal Seventh-day Adventist Church have hosted four-session presentations.
The evening presentations had two segments: The Bible Quiz hosted by Sir Rhoen Shane P. Catolico, SePUM communication director and The Conversations as a review of the previous topics, hosted by Pr. Louwayne Van Magdadaro and one invited guest per night.
Sept. 9 provided time for the only lady speaker of the season, Mrs. Wintonette Angelica Mojica -Tabudlong, president of Adventist Hospital Davao, who with grace and persuasive power delivered “The Secret of Heavenly Rest” highlighting the Sabbath.
On the two remaining nights, Pr. Dave Bornales expounded about “Does God Have A Special Message for Our Day?” and “Can I Find God's Church Today?” The concerted undertakings of Davao Mission (DM) hit the minds and hearts of people and from their 325 churches in 50 districts, resulted to baptism of 926 new converts, including a deputy jail warder and 39 persons deprived of liberty from Island Garden City of Samal jail.
The culmination Sabbath flowed smoothly with the supplementing connections from batteries collecting solar energy and generator, with Pastor Danielo Palomares, SePUM president and Pastor Edwin Magdadaro, executive secretary, spiced the Sabbath School and the Hour of Worship with their messages filled with truth. The previous speakers, five executive secretaries and two institution heads, along with dozens of guests incorporated their talents to the fluidity of the Sept. 12 Sabbath program.
The afternoon was filled with music, testimonies and live feed coverage of baptisms from the different parts of the “half of Mindanao” union territory, with the interconnectedness between SePUM Media, two Hope Channel stations, five media centers, church-based media and communication teams, with dozens of media volunteers and digital missionaries. The broadcasts were brought to gymnasiums, activity centers, churches, homes and other venues via Adventist Media SePUM on You Tube, Discover You Way with God on Facebook, cross-posted over other media outlets, GSat Ch. 33 and SatLite 101.
Special feature for this year’s episode is the participation of 25 active sign language interpreters, five per mission, under the SePUM Adventist Possibilities Ministry under its director, Mrs. Aida D. Lamera. The group is under the mentorship and supervision of a registered special education teacher, Ms. Lucienne Ruth Sabugaa-Causing and her husband, Bro. Irel Jones Causing. The group has been interpreting in various local programs in their churches or missions since their intensive training last April 2026.
Collected statistics showed that the online program gathered the participation of 1,519 churches, 16,298 households, 11, 427 GSat viewers, and 48,292 followers viewed through Facebook or YouTube. 24,577 worksheets were distributed, 65,695 has attended the public gatherings wherein 20,478 of those were not members of the church.
The Spirit of Prophecy reminded: “Every day that passes brings us nearer the end. Does it bring us also near to God? Are we watching unto prayer? Those with whom we associate day by day need our help, our guidance. … Tomorrow some of these souls may be where we can never reach them again. What is our influence over these fellow travelers? What effort do we make to win them to Christ?
Time is short, and our forces must be organized to do a larger work. Laborers are needed who comprehend the greatness of the work and who will engage in it, not for the wages they receive, but from a realization of the nearness of the end. The time demands greater efficiency and deeper consecration. Oh, I am so full of this subject that I cry to God: “Raise up and send forth messengers filled with a sense of their responsibility, messengers in whose hearts self-idolatry, which lies at the foundation of all sin, has been crucified.” Testimonies for the Church 9:27-29.
