Adventist Church inaugurates temporary headquarters in South Central Mindanao

Adventist Church inaugurates temporary headquarters in South Central Mindanao

In response to the changing needs and mission refocus of the church, the newly established regional administrative headquarters in South-Central Mindanao (SCMM) inaugurated its temporary office in Poblacion, Matalam, North Cotabato.

The temporary headquarters demonstrates the church’s dedication and commitment to the changing circumstances. The inauguration event began with a passionate commitment, in which leaders from the Southern Asia-Pacific (SSD) headquarters and the Southeastern Philippine Union Mission (SePUM) expressed their support and prayed for the temporary establishment’s success and influence.

Meanwhile, Pr. Roger Caderma, SSD president, intentionally defines our identity, message, mission, and everyone’s involvement in the speedy finishing of the work assigned to each one.

“We are divinely prepared to do the work! We should not be ashamed of our identity! We have the message! We have the mission! We are special in God’s sight! We need everyone to get involved so the “work” will be completed,” challenged Pr. Caderma.

Along with Pr. Caderma were the SSD Treasurer, Pr. Jacinth Adap and Mr. Anthony Stanyer, SSD Media Center manager.

The SePUM officers: Pr. Danielo Palomares, president; Pr. Edwin Magdadaro, executive secretary, and Mr. Laurence Lamera, treasurer, also attended to witness this landmark ceremony in the SePUM territory.

The inauguration of the temporary office of the South Central Mindanao Mission reflects the Adventist Church’s dedication to meeting its members’ spiritual needs. This momentous occasion marks the beginning of a new chapter, reinforcing the church’s mission to “make disciples of Jesus Christ, proclaim the everlasting gospel of the Three-Angels messages to prepare for God’s soon return.” (SCMM Communication)
