Redirected After 43 Years: Entire Mountain Congregation Embraces Adventist Faith Thru Harvest 2025

One entire congregation of Christian denomination in the mountainous village of Sitio Lamsual 1, Barangay Tasiman, Lake Sebu, South Cotabato,  accepted Harvest 2025 teachings  through sacred baptism and changed their church signage into Seventh-day Adventist Church, a valuable addition to the believers under the jurisdiction Southern Mindanao Mission (SMM).

Harvest 2025 evangelistic meeting was conducted by Pastor Glen Lorence Diama, District Pastor of Lake Sebu 2 District, along with Elder Rene Sanang and the supportive elders and members; in the hard-to-reach community inhabited by Ubo, T’boli tribes and other groups.

With the support of adjacent churches of Lake Sebu Central, Talisay , Tasiman, Bliboy,  Boto Cemel, Datal Kadi, Datal Ligaw, Elumet, Kadi, Kolon Bong, Nef, Riverside, Tablisong and Tolo and the power of the “Word of God that is alive and active, sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart,” their conversion took place with miraculous twist.

Such evangelical congregation existing for 43 years, and recently led by Bro. Nono Kamblan, diligently attended the Bible studies with song and praise sessions until all of its members decided to be baptized as members of the Adventist church and whole-heartedly changed their label or church sign.

We will continue praying for God’s leading especially for his people who accepted the challenge of God’s messenger, Mrs. Ellen G. White, “The Lord is calling upon His people to take up different lines of work. Those in the highways and byways of life are to hear the gospel message. Church members are to do evangelistic work in the homes of their neighbors who have not yet received full evidence of the truth for this time.” Testimonies vol. 9, 33.1
