Youth Ministries Director of Southeastern Philippine Union Mission (SePUM), Pr. Nelo M. Seda Jr. welcomed an astounding attendance of 375 enthusiastic participants to the highly anticipated Youth Leaders’ Convention at the South Philippine Adventist College campus on February 23-25, 2024.

This inspiring event, organized by Adventist Youth Ministries, fostered camaraderie among young leaders with the theme #iAmSent, emphasizing the divine call to engage in God’s mission.

On the opening night, Dr. Chliejvferwyn C. Catolico, President of SPAC, offered encouragement and motivation, envisioning the attendees as being equipped for impactful leadership in the church.

In this convention, delegates from SePUM territory: SCMM, SECM, DM, NDM, and SMM actively participated in worship sessions, plenary discussions, and engaging activities facilitated by esteemed guests and volunteers who shared invaluable insights and wisdom, which aimed to reignite the passion of young leaders to inspire more people to serve God.

While spiritual enrichment was experienced, the convention also provided an opportunity for personal growth through meeting and greeting fellow leaders from other missions through spiritual activities— empowering attendees to become interactive individuals prepared for the imminent return of Jesus Christ.

The event’s purpose is truly emphasized and echoed as attendees reflect on their experiences and lessons learned; they are poised to apply newfound knowledge and inspiration within their local youth ministries and fellow Adventist youth, embodying their commitment to serve faithfully.

Praise and honor are extended to the Master Guide and Creator and to the mission workers, organizers, volunteers, and sponsors whose dedication made this inaugural Youth Leaders’ Convention a resounding success.
