After the successful gathering of church leaders from the Southeastern Philippine Union Mission (SePUM), who conducted the MissionReach ’26 Orientation and Seminar for the first batch of NDR–IEL advocates from Davao Mission (DM) and South Central Mindanao Mission (SCMM) at South Philippine Adventist College (SPAC) on February 14, identical training was also held at Southern Mindanao Mission (SMM) on February 15, while separate gatherings took place for Southeastern Caraga Mission (SCM) and Northern Davao Mission (NDM) on February 28.

In the first two gatherings, guest speakers Pr. Ian Felicitas, SSD Field Secretary; Pr. Arnel Gabin, SSD NDR–IEL Director; Pr. Raul Emnace, SePUM Sabbath School Director; Pr. Rene Rosa, SePUM Field Secretary and Pr. Danielo Palomares, SePUM President, shared timely messages and insights on intentional nurturing, integrated leadership, and effective evangelism.

The initiative centers on Whole Church Involvement (Total Member Involvement) and seeks steady growth in mission impact throughout the current quinquennium.
The Southern Mindanao Mission conducted the MissionReach ’26 Orientation and Seminar under the NDR–IEL Department on February 15, 2026, at the ACMC Building. The event gathered church leaders, department representatives, and members for orientation, lectures, and strategic alignment toward a unified and integrated mission.

The orientation provided a clear overview of the MissionReach ’26 framework, emphasizing collaboration among departments and local churches in strengthening disciple-making, nurturing, and evangelism. Participants were encouraged to embrace a shared vision and implement coordinated efforts that respond effectively to the needs of their communities.
NDM has been shared with inspiring lectures at the Municipal Dome of Maragusan, Davao de Oro, while SCM gathered its leaders at the San Francisco Growth Enhancement Multi-Purpose Cooperative in San Francisco, Agusan del Sur. All SePUM administrators and directors shared insights on reaching communities that have not yet heard the Adventist message (unreached people groups), using online platforms, social media, and digital tools to share the gospel through digital missions, and strengthening Adventist schools and educational outreach through education ministries.

Health initiatives were again highlighted by promoting health programs, medical missions, and lifestyle evangelism, while children and youth ministries were emphasized to engage the next generation in mission and discipleship.
Literature evangelism should continue reaching new places, while organizing large-scale and local evangelism events should be more intentional. Communities will be served through humanitarian aid, relief, compassion, and service projects during calamities and emergencies. Friendship and relational evangelism were underscored as a lifestyle of building personal connections and witnessing through relationships. Families are to be strengthened as centers of faith and mission, while special needs ministries will reach people with disabilities and marginalized groups.

Most importantly, every Adventist member will be ensured participation in mission through Total Member Involvement. MissionReach 2026 is a coordinated effort to mobilize church members, deepen discipleship, and expand mission outreach through education, training, and community engagement.
Through strategic discussions, participants were encouraged to embrace a shared vision of mission, moving beyond isolated efforts toward a united approach in reaching communities. MissionReach 2026 will initially stand as part of the Mission REAPS strategy: Reach, Expand, Advance, Proclaim, and then Seek, Save, and Disciple.

Yes! After reaching everyone through various means, Isaiah 54:2 ignites us to expand the church’s influence by strengthening institutions, communities, and outreach despite difficulties. We need to advance our mission and methods, with courage and innovation, refusing to stay stagnant in a fast- changing world. The verse in 2 Timothy 4:2 tells us to proclaim the gospel with clarity, conviction, and creativity thus we should always emulate Jesus, “for the Son of Man came to seek and save those who are lost” (Luke 19:10).
“We have nothing to fear for the future except as we shall forget the way the Lord has led us, and His teaching in our past history.” — E.G. White, Testimonies to Ministers and Gospel Workers, 31.1
We should not worry about the great tasks, since the Spirit-inspired writer of the Spirit of Prophecy advised: “Workers for Christ are never to think, much less to speak, of failure in their work. The Lord Jesus is our efficiency in all things; His Spirit is to be our inspiration; and as we place ourselves in His hands, to be channels of light, our means of doing good will never be exhausted. We may draw upon His fulness, and receive of that grace which has no limit.” — Gospel Workers, 19
