SePUM Family Members are now “ADRA Angels”

Southeastern Philippine Union Mission (SePUM) administrators, headed by its President, Pastor Danielo Palomares (ADRA Board Chairman), the directors, and staff, chose to be ADRA Angels beginning September 9, after the brief visit of Ms. Shantell Leigh Villapez-Villavicencio, Marketing Officer of Adventist Development and Relief Agency (ADRA Philippines), at SePUM’s temporary office at Adventist Hospital Davao in Bangkal, Davao City.

The SePUM family wanted to follow its purpose of “serving humanity so all may live as God intended.” Moving” forward with its motto: “Justice, Compassion, Love,” we will gather our “peso coins and bills” to support where they will be most needed.

ADRA serves as the global humanitarian arm of the Seventh-day Adventist Church, which is part of the 20-million-strong Adventist community, with hundreds of thousands of churches worldwide and the world’s largest integrated healthcare and education network.

They deliver relief and development assistance to individuals in more than 120 countries—regardless of ethnicity, political affiliation, gender, or religious association.

The Philippines is at the top of the world risk index. As an archipelago within the typhoon belt, ring of fire, and other disastrous conditions, ADRA uses various means to provide technical expertise on disaster response and management and psychological first aid to support everyone who has experienced a significant change of behavior after troublesome experiences.

By partnering with local communities, organizations, and governments, ADRA delivers culturally relevant programs like educational assistance, livelihood training, and financial support and builds local capability for sustainable change.

Why ADRA Angels and how? ADRA has established vital linkages and partnerships with government units, international organizations, and other generous entities. However, resources are often limited, and the need is immense. In these challenging times, ADRA needs earthly angels like us, the SePUM family members, to go the extra mile in sharing and loving. Our contributions, no matter how big or small, are crucial in supporting ADRA’s mission.

Are you passionate about making a lasting impact in the world, changing one life at a time? We believe our contributions, big or small, along with our prayers, will go a long way. aClick this link: https://www.facebook.com/ADRAPhilippines?mibextid=ZbWKwL, or visit the ADRA Philippines Facebook page to learn more about their commendable programs. Be like Jesus to others. Share justice, compassion, and love. (SePUM Communication)
